Luxury Fragrance Return Policy

At Scent Haven, we take pride in offering authentic luxury and niche fragrances. Due to the exclusive nature of these products and industry hygiene standards, all returns are subject to strict verification and approval.

By placing an order with Scent Haven, customers agree to the following return conditions.


1. Final Sale Policy

All fragrances from the following designer and niche brands are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund once shipped, except in cases of verified damage or shipping error:

This policy applies to:

  • Full-size bottles
  • Discovery sets
  • Gift sets
  • Limited editions
  • Special releases


2. Eligible Returns

For non-final sale items, returns may only be accepted if:

  • The product is completely unopened
  • Factory cellophane and seals remain intact
  • The item has not been used, sprayed, tested, or tampered with
  • The return request is submitted within 14 days of delivery
  • The product is received back in resalable condition

Returns that do not meet these conditions will be refused and returned to the customer.


3. Return Authorization Required

All returns require prior authorization from Scent Haven.

Unauthorized returns may be rejected.


4. Inspection & Verification

All returned products undergo inspection upon arrival.

Scent Haven reserves the right to:

  • refuse returns showing signs of use or tampering
  • deny refunds for damaged or altered packaging
  • document returns for fraud prevention purposes

For health, safety, and authenticity reasons, opened fragrances cannot be restocked or resold.


5. No Restocking Fees

Approved eligible returns are not subject to restocking fees.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by Scent Haven.


6. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Customers must report damaged, incorrect, or missing items within 48 hours of delivery.

Claims must include:

  • Order number
  • Photos of packaging
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of shipping labels if applicable

Failure to report issues within the required timeframe may result in claim denial.


7. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

Scent Haven reserves the right to:

  • refuse service to customers with excessive return histories
  • cancel suspicious orders
  • dispute fraudulent chargebacks with supporting shipment and delivery evidence

Orders flagged for fraud prevention may require signature confirmation.


8. Shipping Liability

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the shipping carrier.

Scent Haven is not responsible for:

  • lost or stolen packages marked delivered
  • incorrect addresses entered by customers
  • carrier delays beyond our control

Customers are encouraged to select secure delivery locations.

Customers that believe they are missing their package must contact customer service at customerservice@scenthaven.ca within 48 hours of delivery notification.

By purchasing from Scent Haven, customers acknowledge that they have read and agreed to this Return Policy prior to checkout.
